Bought this to upgrade the Roku that was in our living room. More reliable streaming, closed captions, more channels! What's not to like?

We bought this unit to replace an Apple TV and have not been sorry. The Roku has much better content of programs than Apple does. We have become attracted to British TV mysteries, and this programming on Roku has been very good.

A Good Option for TV and Movie Viewing

This product seems to work as it should. It has some excellent features but could use some improvement. There needs to be more free content in current films and tv shows. Connecting to new channels is quite easy in most cases but in others involves having to move back and forth between Roku and computer to enter codes. It needs improvement in that and a more intuitive content search.

Works flawlessly. Only change I would like is a version that uses IR commands so that I can use my universal media controller as a single controller.

I was pleased in how easy it was to set up and get connected. The only problem I have found is that sometimes it loses the sound. It then has to be unplugged to reboot.

Simplicity of installation ...

I'm in my 70s and not particularly "hi-tech" .... but setting up my Roku was simple and my wife loves the fact that I can use ear buds which plug into my Roku controler. She can read and not be distracted by my program choices :)
