Have used this for several months. There is so much on this device that I'm still finding new channels to watch! As far as streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) it works like a champ. I also subscribe to MLBtv, and have been watching ball games on my big screen all season. Can't think of one negative thing to report.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great until it stopped working...

I liked the Roku 2 very much until I realized that the interface is basic and cumbersome. Searching for shows and using the interface is not exactly intuitive. What really made me experience with Roku 2 bad was that it stopped connecting to the internet after only a few months. It was not good with low signals and would not stay connected. It is small, but if you lose your remote FORGET IT! You cannot do anything without the remote. Once I took it to a friends apartment and forgot the remote there and brought it back home and could not get it to connect to my internet again without the remote. I am just not a fan of Roku 2 pay a little bit more and get FIRETV!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the product. Very easy install and easy to use. I also love the earphones for the remote feature. Some movies I watch, the sound gets too loud during action scenes (i.e. music, gun fire, car chase), using the earphones eliminates this problem. My only "con" would be that there is no way to change user profile on Netflix using Roku 2. If there is a way to change user profile, I've not been able to figure it out. I also do not know if this user profile problem is related to Netflix or Roku 2, but my overall rating is a 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of this issue.
