I bought my ROKU2 couple months ago. I can't believe how amazing it is. If I could have had it when cable first (40 years ago), I would have never started with cable. ROKU2 is all I need. Never want to be without one.

Purchased several months ago. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Now if only my Universal TV remote had a Roku button! That would make it complete!

Excellent product, some hick-ups

We have two Roku 2s, one for each TV. Setup and installation was easy and in no time we were off and running. However, we do encounter some problems now and again.
We had it in our AV cabinet at first but it quickly became very hot even when not playing video. The solution was simple enough: move it outside the cabinet.
The other problem is less understandable. Periodically the sound slows way down to a point where it is completely not understandable. The video plays normally though. Every time this happens I fiddle with it a different way and eventually the sound comes back. This is only a problem for one of the two units and I can't say for sure it is the Roku 2's fault as the audio is going to the TV through HDMI and back to the stereo receiver via optical and either of those two devices can be the problem. Research has shown that the cable could be a problem as well so the last thing I've tried to fix it was replace the hdmi cable. No repeats so far.

So simple to use & set up!!

I love, love, love my Roku! Plus the headset connect to the remote so you can listen to movies, etc privately or while others are sleeping. You can be doing stuff & still hear way better over any noise you are making! Can't say anything negative as there is nothing but positive benefits!
