Best TV viewing ever!

My TV viewing went from local stations to Direct TV to X-Box to Roku. I have canceled my Direct TV . I get my news and weather on the internet and all TV viewing is Roku. No commercials and HD pictures and excellent sound.

We were tired of paying ridiculous amounts for cable or satellite, decided to buy this and have never been happier!!! Lots of channel to watch, bunch of stuff for the grandkids, you cannot beat it!!!

I love being able to use this device for Netflix and HBO Go. I wish the Showtime app could be used. Sometimes it "loads" frequently during a program and the remote stops responding. The headphone jack only works intermitently

Easy to use, great choice

I got the Roku as a gift, and I LOVE it. It doesn't replace my cable but it could. I really enjoy being able to pick and choose what I want to watch when I want to watch it. I mainly use Netflix. It' simple to set up and off you go.

I have both the 2 & 3 Roku love the 3 sorry I purchase the 2 it freezes up and have to unplug it and restarted it

Good option for those who don't want to get trapped into the cable/satellite lifestyle, especially if you're not the type to sit and watch TV constantly, and don't have a Wii, X-Box or other very expensive device.

Good but not what I expected

I bought this several months ago and I find that Search is two separate places by name and by title is time consuming. The Netflix is not as easy to use as on my computer. Would have liked more news stations, such as MSNBC and BBC. The only plus is that I now can see Netflix on my TV.
