I bought the Roku 2 a few weeks ago with the thought that I would try it in an attempt to cut the cord. After 2 days, all the cable tv equipment was returned.....no need for a 30 day trial. The Roku was here to stay. Works brilliantly and pays for itself in less than a month. Offers so much more than SmartTV applications. No more cable ever again.

I never would have purchased my Samsung Smart TV if I had known about Roku first. I have only used Netflix on it and a few "Prime" free movies, but I would highly recommend it.

Triple your pleasure! I replaced my older Roku with a newer version and have really put the joy back in TV time! I dropped my cable and am still exploring all my options. Love the earplugs on the Roku 2 - for quiet, late night listening! LOVE my Roku!

I really like the Roku, but after a few weeks, the remote quit working. Regardless of how many times I tried to reboot/reset. I ended up downloading the Roku app on my smartphone and watch tv through phone remote.

I bought my roku about 2 wks ago because i am fed up w/the exorbitant costs and required stations of satellite tv which is the only thing available in my rural area--though I know it would be the same w/cable. I'm enjoying the variety which I have and am still experimenting w/it. I bought this unit for the study/bedroom area to play with. When my contract is up in December, I intend to buy Roku 3 for the Livingroom which is where I really should be able to play with it. Thus far I am impressed and am looking forward to learning more about it. The only issue I really have is the requirement to pay for some of the tv programming--but then that is not the fault of roku, but of the tv stations

We had struggled with using wii as our alternative viewing system. Roku 2 is a snap to use and the HD quality is wonderful. Great product
