Works great!

This is my 2nd Roku. I bought it as an upgrade because I wanted the earphone feature. It was what I expected and more. I can start the player in one room and listen in another room with the earphone that attaches to the remote. I can also attach speakers in the earphone jack and listen that way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought it about a year ago, hooked it up, had it running in about 20 minutes. Works great.
Con: Need to move the Home button as easy mistaken touched while changing channels.

My Roku beats my Wii when it comes to watching Netflix. It's quicker to get into Netflix, has a more stable connection, and is easier to browse for things to watch. Plus, you can add channels and watch other things on it!

I've had the Roku 2 for almost a year now.
Pros: Good channel lineup, the remote is awesome (RF instead of IR) it's tiny and doesn't crash or need restarting often.

Cons: It seems really sloooow loading some channels or changing/refreshing screens. YouTube seems especially horrible, it me it's almost unusable.

Bought this so that I could pick up Asian channels. I have found that it has delivered time and time again with everything that I ask. I will disconnect my cable service as soon as I find all of the features.

I bought the Roku box and was s excited that I cut the cable cord. I did my homework and thought I knew what I was buying. It was not super easy to navigate but I was able to figure it out. I attempted to view shows on my favorite channels but there were MANY shows I had to authorize. Now this meant getting a code from the screen then going to my computer and plugging in that data only to find that my provider was not on the list...for months! A comment on the screen initially stated to wait for my provider's name to show as they were adding providers daily. Months later it is still not there. Now I waited to cut the cord until football was over since there was a lot of talk about NFL coming to ROKU so I thought the time to jump was in March. And so now here we are after numerous comments that NFL would be ready to stream on ROKU and what do I see? NOTHING. No NFL. AND an inability to 'authorize' shows. I'm not going back to cable but I am no longer going to recommend ROKU as I had done so so willingly initially. How very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is one of those purchases that you are glad you made. It was well priced and does not limit us to a few sites that the maker is selling. Works perfectly.
