Nice Little Device

I purchased this device for my 6 year old Vizio flat screen tv, and now I have a smart Tv without the added cost. The picture quality is good using the HDMI port in the back and the internet speed is good.. no buffering.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to install and not hard to learn the basics

I only got it a couple days ago, and so far I am impressed at how easy it has been to get rid of the cable system and how enjoyable it is to be able not to be paying for a host of channels that are purely inappropriate for my use. This gives ME the power to decide what is usable in my home and to leave the rest. I am ELATED!!!

I bought this months ago for a tv I watch infrequently. First few times I used it was perfect. After my return time passed I found if I want to use it it has to unplugged and plugged in multiple times to get it to connect. My signals are excellent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got my Roku 2 after owning my Roku 1 for just a couple of weeks, decided to give that one to my son who can't afford cable. Roku boxes are great for people who don't have access to cable/dish but I would like to see some additions such as the ability to use a bluetooth keyboard for registering channels etc. I would also like to have some live channels where you don't have to choose what to watch next and manually select it. On any regular TV channel you just turn it on and it will play forever until you change it or turn it off. Not so with Roku or any TV boxes I know of. But anything that can help wean us off of cable TV is a good thing.

i like the ROKU player because of ease of use and the many apps it has. Only draw back is i have to reset my players from time to time, which can be a pain in the butt. but other than that it's a great piece of equipment to have and use.

I'm very happy with this great product. I have the Roku 2 and the Streaming Stick. The programming is better than premium channels on cable.
