Will not play sound for certain movies on Amazon.

I have had my Roku 2 for about a year and loved it until now. It has stopped playing sound on some movie channels on both Amazon and Vudu (there may be others but I have not experienced any yet). I have tried the recommendations on Roku website to no avail.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am NOT thrilled with the Roku devices because in my experience, sure it has a lot of "channel" entertainment to choose from but at least half are some sort of pay services and what really annoyed me is that upon first setting up, one has to have a laptop or desktop computer handy because to run most of the services, a message appears that tells you to go to with services website and enter a bunch of stuff and get a code that you enter back into the Roku device to get the service up and running. Most other devices I have owned let you set up a particular service right there on screen without having an available laptop by your side to set things up. I found this VERY annoying. Plus, for me, I couldn't figure out what I needed to download or how to set up for my stored content on a NAS drive to play on this player. I felt that anyone owning a NAS setup like I have, buyer beware. It just wasn't the exact player that fit my needs. I much more enjoy having the freedom to look up my own content at home and being able to play it back through a device rather that going through all these other "channels" and searching for the same content they may or may not offer. Plus in most cases and services, the content cannot be played back through a 5.1 digital audio setup at all that I'm aware of. That alone is a big deal breaker! At least in my home, using another competitor player instead of the Roku, I can stream my media content in FULL 5.1 digital audio and watch ANYTHING when I want and as many times as I want. Content I enjoy watching DOESN'T expire after a while as it does on services such as HULU Plus or Netflix!! The only way I loose any content is if something happens to my hard drives. These reasons are what is making me somewhat leary about even thinking of purchasing a Roku 3. I would like someone to help take away my fears about this product because something inside is telling me to try the Roku 3. I don't feel this device is made for the very "tech savy" person at heart and I WOULD NOT recommend it!

Bad System!

I bought 1 Roku unit and tried for 2 days to get it to connect to my internet. NO luck w/ Connecting. Thought I had got a bad unit, returned it for another one and the 2nd unit Would Not Connect to my internet. I have Charter High Speed internet, very fast and reliable. Would Not spend my money on a Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

if roku could change the line up and make every thing availbilty like in sign up on goggle ur signed in on every thing like the android play store to stop all of these code's u sign up once even getting and redueing the roku like the device itself and make regulator channel's like 5 9 12 an channel 48 through Cincinnati an the rosary also I would get ride of time warner if the line up changed

Mine Does Not Have A Jack In The Remote For Head Phones????And It Does Not Have Any AV Jacks On The Back??? The Picture Shows Them Why Mine Has None I Have No Idea

I LOVE The new update it know has YouTube i LOVE that and some other improvments but all you need for this roku player is profiles for netflix because i know alot of people who OWN The roku two and it would be an amazing new add So please consider this update
