I went to the store today singing a happy tune, got home and now I'm very disappointed with my purchase!! The channels that are "available" are just as expensive as if I were to use them on my Xbox and I still have to use a separate antenna to get local channels. What's the point??? This will be returned tomorrow.

love this little gizmo just canceled my cable today so much to watch compared to cable I can watch shows anytime I want without going to the poor house trying to pay for them, thank you so much I can start saving money and still enjoy television there is so much to watch I wonder what took me so long to switch.

I hated my Roku box

It constantly dropped the wireless network connection, making streaming impossible. I tossed it and bought Apple TV. ATV has not dropped the connection once--and the UX and industrial design are way better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second Roku 2 with the ear buds. It will not connect to my network after many try's and a long call to support. I haven' had a chance to call yet, but I will be sending it back. I wanted the ear buds and have had 2 Rokus that worked great.

I bought the Roku hoping it would be an expensive alternative to satellite/cable TV. The Roku itself is not expensive but by the time you pay monthly subscription fees for anything you might be interested in viewing the cost would be more than my satellite bill. Very disappointed from that point of view.
