My Roku 2 gets too hot all the time. I don't know if there's a way to cool off the Roku 2. It's difficult to sometimes look up movies or television shows to watch that do not cost money. Some television shows you have to have a cable provider and ask me to go to my personal computer and then click on my cable provider. I do not have a cable provider. I only have internet. When I first got the Roku 2 and was cliciking on the Networks such as Netflix, youtube, etc. I clicked on some networks I later wanted delited and I do not know how to go about that. But overall, my family likes the channels especially the History Channel.

I didn't hook this up because of my busy schedule and feared that it would be complicated; I was wrong. The ease to hook this up to the TV was almost as easy as picking up the remote to turn the TV on. The ease goes beyond the hook-up into everyday use. Happy that I found the "time" to open the box.

Amazingly easy to set up even for an old codger. Now I never have to leave my easy chair to look through a list of movies or past television shows on those nights when "There's nothing on.

I bought this Roku for my mother for Christmas. I was disappointed That it would not work with the HDMI cable for a better picture. It did work with the includes wires though. The remote works well: I like Hulu-I do not like the YouTube setup on there. A lot of the other channels are a waste of space. It is fine for its purpose.

ok features, wish they hadn't taken away usb port

I bought it a month ago after having a little older roku 2 and wanting another one for my bedroom tv, thought this would be as perfect as the older one, but it turns out its not quite as good. For some reason they took out the usb port that they used to have, which I don't use all the time, but we lose internet once and a while and I have all my movies on a hard drive which I can watch usually through my plex server, but I have also had that go down when I don't have internet so it was so nice to just plug in the hard drive to the roku and play what I wanted, now I can't do that, which I can only imagine the reason they did that was to save a couple cents per unit which isn't worth it to me to have that removed, so its just not quite as good as it used to be.

great technology

This is a very good idea. I use it mostly for sending youtube videos from the laptop. With the button on the bottom of each video that plays it instantly on the tv, it's very convenient. The only improvement I would suggest is to add the alphabet to the remote to make searching for videos easier.

I love it! My daughter bought this for me for Christmas. I especially like attaching head phones to the remote control and being able to walk around or wear them in bed.
