I got the Roku 2 for Christmas. I really enjoy what it can do. My only criticism is sometimes it tries to change to my neighbors' internet signal which means I lose my show as ti reboots. This sometimes happens six or more times during one hour-long show.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this after I could get my Samsung "Smart" TV to stream Netflix. I have no idea and after research found I am not the only one with this problem. Purchased the Roku 2, hooked it up, and presto, Netflix! Fast, easy I couldn't believe it. I ordered two more for a couple other TV's in the house. Next time no Smart TV, I will save the money. This device is wonderful!

Missing simple features and performance is horrid

I purchased a roku 2 a month ago and I realized I have to purchase a roku 3 to get Netflix profiles.. Come on really? Additionally my older roku way out preformed the 2 and the roku stick.
If you want youtube don't bother next to unusable.
Fix netflix profiles and maybe i will revisit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Remote's Headphone Jack!!

The ability to plug earphones into the remote for "private listening" is absolutely genius and really sets the Roku 2 and 3 far ahead of its competitors. I have an odd schedule, but now I can watch TV whenever I want without waking up the whole house.

My Only Regret Is Waiting So Long!

We've had our Roku for about a month and absolutely love it. Tiny box, tiny remote, BIG value! Even if we decide to get cable again for television, I can foresee keeping and using this until it either stops working or is so far outdated that we have to buy another. Worth every penny!
