Quite disappointed

2 weeks after i got my Roku, I now have to take the batteries out of the remote and switch them around every 5-10 minutes. I thought I had bad batteries, but it's the remote that's bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad deal. Don't buy. Slow, Slow, Slow. You have to pay for everything that you want to actually watch.

I got this about a month ago . I like it . Lots of channels I have a lot of issues with the remote not working that part I don't like.

I have had one Roku streamer for some time, so my purchase of a Roku 2 was for another room. Both of them get used almost daily. I love being able to watch what I want to when I want to and be able to pause, reverse, or just watch again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped working

I was so excited about the roku. I loved that you could use headphones plugged right into the remote. After a month, it just stopped working. I reset it and it worked again for two days. Now even resetting it doesn't help. It's an expensive paperweight.

I am on my second Roku 2. Roku replaced my last one for free because it continually locked up and rebooted. I'm having the same issues with the replacement. It seems to get really hot and it randomly reboots. I still have my old Roku XD and do not have these issues with it. I would not buy this particular Roku. Get the stick.

I love this little box! I barely even watch cable anymore. Why would I, when there are WAY more options with the Roku box. Dare I say, there might be TO many options! Hulu and YouTube are where I waste most of my time.
