Good but needs improvement

I like my Roku but I don't use wireless; I would like it to have an Ethernet port. Sill a great product to watch Alex Jones!

I got rid of cable because of the high prices. I was given this as a gift for Christmas. It is the best thing I have ever had in my house!

I Waited Too Long To Get This!

I watch Netflix a lot, and I do mean a lot. For a while I had been watching it on my Wii player and the quality of that was poor so I moved up to a well-known name brand BluRay player that was claiming to be Netflix friendly. I struggled with this player for almost 2 years and had so many issues. The image quality was mediocre, it often wouldn't start a movie, many times movies would have to keep re-buffering throughout...it was a mess. For most of this time, I blamed my internet and then eventually decided it was a problem with Netflix. A friend told me about the Roku so I decided I would give it a try. As the title says, I waited too long! As it turns out, the problems were with my previous players and not Netflix or my internet. I have used this player now for a month and have had absolutely no problems at all. It streams in HD with fantastic image quality and there are never any hiccups through anything I have watched. It's great to get to finally watch a film without it having to re-buffer 5-20 times throughout...and with DVD or better picture quality to boot! I absolutely love this player and my only complaint with it is that I didn't buy one 2 years ago.

Love my Roku!

Tried a Chromestick first. It would not work with my equipment, so I returned it and bought the less expensive Roku. It's exactly what I wanted. I can now watch my Netflix and Hulu on my big tv, and am seriously considering downgrading my cable to the cheapest basic. I can get everything I watch on cable through my Roku apps.

My family got a Roku for Christmas, and everyone's enjoyed it so far. My parents can now find plenty of new shows, have revived a few old favorites and enjoyed a much better range of movies for a much better price than at the video store through Netflix. Both my parents have quickly and easily understood the controls/remote, and overall it seems to be a great value, especially paired with Netflix.
I would recommend this to a friend!
