Love my Roku

I bought my roku 2, 3 months ago and it's great! The earphones being connectable to the remote is the best feature for me. I like action movies and like listening to them loudly; having the earphones pluged into the remote it great. I can watch my movies, listen loudly, pause or stop and not disturb the rest of the household is wonderful. I gave may old one to my daughter and now she's going to give it to my grandchildren and by the Roku 2
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features

I've had the Roku 2 for a couple of months and have enjoyed the variety of program options and ease of use. Got the 2 so as to have the headphone jack on the remote to block out the sound of my hard-of-hearing husband's TV that has a Roku Streaming Stick that he loves, he won't use headphones. Also like the app on my phone and tablet that controls the Roku.

I would like to see some sort of web app where you could surf the internet. It has youtube so why not the rest of the WWW.

I love my ROKU! I would recommend it to everyone! We found that we are not even watching our cable anymore. There are so many channels and choices honestly I don't know how you could possibly get thru it all.

Don't Waste Your Money

Maybe I'm spoiled because I already have a couple Roku 3's, but the Roku 2 sucks in comparison. It's dog-slow and doesn't even support Netflix Profiles. If you want a slow Roku that supports Netflix Profiles, get the Roku Stick. If you want a fast Roku that supports pretty much everything, get a Roku 3. Don't waste your time or money on the Roku 2.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
