Good player with some great features, but problems

I like the headphone option on this model, but after a couple of months of less than average use, the volume rocker switch on the remote failed (in the high volume position). In addition, the unit tends to run hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

after purchasing the ROKU I find it entertaining. I get to watch all of the shows I grew up on and some shows my kids watch

I bought this device in July. The performance was spotty, and 4 months later, it lost sound completely. With a 3 month warranty on the device, this was a bad investment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the concept. Cut the cable. Saving money combined with an antenna. The only thing that I don't like is the battery drain add it is always on and connected to the remote. Git the app for support using your phone. Other than that. . . .I am enjoying it and saving a hundred bucks a month.
