Great channel selection

Our favorite thing about our Roku is the great channel selection. However, the entire reason we purchased this device instead of a different players is because of the headphone jack. We were excited we could watch a loud movie after our babies went to sleep at night. Straight away, the headphones were glitchy and eventually the head phone jack stopped working, and shortly after that the remote stopped working. We've changed out the batteries, and reset the remote and had no luck with either. I now use the remote app on my iPhone, which works but it's annoyjng & we don't have the headphone jack we were hoping for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just purchased a Roku 2 for our downstairs T.V. It is great, easy to use and a great choice of channels to choose from.

if you purchase this,you'll need a experienced person to help you with setting up an account as the instructions are not as clear as they could be.The attaching it to your tv was easy,it was going online on your computer that was hard.Also you better have good wifi or you will be fustrated with the wait times for streaming.

Roku is a terrific turn-key device for accessing broadband video. Its navigation is so much easier than Comcast's clunky, outdated design. I enjoy its integration with multiple streaming video providers. My one gripe is that the remote drains batteries in about a week. Not sure why. We've gone through 3 sets of brand new Duracell batteries in about 3 weeks.

I absolutely love this product. I moved this year and kept my cable, but had I known, I would've replaced all my cable boxes. Such a large variety of content and the picture quality is pretty good. Can't beat it for the money.
