Unstoppable enterntainment

Bought my Roku about a month ago. Since then we havent gone to the movies because we really dont need to. My kids were surprised they even have seen very new movies without leaving home. Thank you

Why did I wait so long???!!!!

My innate fear of new technologies and my past inability to make them work properly is probably the reason why I avoided getting a Roku-like device for so long. However, my fears were completely unfounded because the Roku player was extremely easy to set up and the remote is very intelligently designed, intuitive and easy to use. I couldn't be happier with this product.

we are so happy with our Roku 2 and it is so easy to use. Once I got it set up my 2 year old was able to operate it to choose shows that he wanted to watch and start them. We have thoroughly enjoyed it and are so glad that we made the decision to buy one.

Dissappointed

Dissappointed with the NHLGC application for which I bought this unit. It keeps telling me to unplug/replug after 25-40 minutes of real time action. Have had to shelve/ditch the Roku2 unit and use a long HDMI cable from my PC to TV to watch on line uninterrupted games. If I had known of this problem -- which is a recent one since have used an older Roku2 HD for 3years without a problem -- would not have wasted money on the newer unit. Roku and NHL need to get together to resolve this recent/revised/updated application problem, and its functioning. Both parties blame each other but I suspect monetary issuea are involved. And, contacting Roku reps does NOT offer any relief nor remedial actions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I only get a few channels, because I have basic cable. My children bought me a Roku for my birthday and I have had so much fun finding different programs to watch. Everything from my favorites on Netflix to cooking shows and the History channel. I'm very happy with my Roku!
