Easy to install and use!

We bought this three weeks ago and had no trouble installing and using it. The remote is very simple to use, and it is doing what it hoped it would do.

We got our Roku 2 about a month ago so we are still learning what we can get on it. Cutting the high monthly cost of cable was our motivation. Roku has helped with that very well. The setup was very easy, especially nice for those of us who are not very tech savy. The only negative we have with this system is we are finding that a lot of the TV shows we wanted to watch has a per episode cost. So, this has limited our use. We are very happy with the movie selections that are available from several places like Netflix and Hulu. Over all we are very happy that we made the move to Roku.

A new way to view media.

I am learning to disconnect from viewing habits that I have had since I was 10 years old, (That's 62 years ago). I get to watch what I want when I want to watch it. I also choose to avoid ads and it is easy to do that.
One concern it the lack of streaming options for news. I have an Ipad that satisfies my need to keep in touch. I do miss the PBS News Hour same day shows.
I am pleased with Roku and hope it continues to expand the media available.

An indispensable key for cutting the cable!

We have one of these on each of our tv's. This has allowed us to do away with our monthly bill. There is a really good selection of content but there are some major content owners that are holding out (Discovery Channel, I'm talking to you). Some content is dependent on your provider (Charter and Comcast are missing from some of these). I cannot recommend this product enough. If content you wish to see is not available, write to the owners to urge them to get on board.
The only Roku related downside I see is text entry. It is cumbersome with the provided remote. But you can use the Roku app to stream some content from your phone/tablet which is a GREAT feature.

We have our Roku for one month and love it. It was very easy to install, if I can do it anybody can. For a small device it provides lots of choices.

We now have a new broadcasting network on jw.org and needed a streaming box and looked around and bought Roku 2 and wow it was so easy to install, load and use. It is a must use
