Headphone jack went out after only 6 months

I love Roku. But--This is the third Roku unit I have owned but I bought it because it had the headphone jack built into the remote. The headphone jack stopped working after only 6 months of light use. It still works otherwise but since I already have one sitting in a box that works this one was a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought it from Target for a house of college students. Wish there was a way to adjust the volume of the TV through the Roku. Also wish that the buttons at the bottom of the remote corresponded to the apps we actually use. Other than that we really enjoy our roku.

I enjoy the Roku but if I didnt have my son to set it up, it wouldnt work at all. While a little easier to set up than the BluRay player adding all the passwords and what not makes it a little daunting for an 85 year old. Its too bad that these don't come with everything pre logged on or something like that because I think more people would use it. Like a Roku monthly subscription that lets you go on Hulu, Netflix and the others without having to have all those different subscriptions and passwords. Really, I love the device and I really like the headphone thing except once I accidentally left the headphones plugged in one time and thought my TV was broken. Keep up the good work.

Love both my Rokus

We bought a Roku 2 and 3 for our house when we got rid of cable. It was a bit of a transition but well worth it. I love all the options, local weather, news stations and immediate access to countless apps. I would like to see a better integration with certain stations like HBO Go (for xfinity). I also love the head phones you can plug into the remote.

My family was unsure at first, but slowly coming around. Love not having a dish bill. Roku is great just wish more channels would get on board.

I primarily use the unit for Vudu and Netflix but I occasionally enjoy browsing the other channels as well. I had a Blu-Ray player with a useless Netflix app but both work great on the Roku. I have some buffering issues with some of the free channels but... free channels.

I got this a few months ago. I didn't like it at first because I hated giving up cable, but now I love being able to watch shows I like and love at a cheaper price.
The only thing I don't like about Roku are the preset buttons (i.e. Netflix, etc.) They are really sensitive and I don't use any of the preset channels.
