I bought this for one channel that was only available through Roku, but I had no idea how many other channels existed. Tons of free cooking shows, tons of free documentaries, concerts, travel and other learning shows, and a rotating selection of movies and tv shows also free, besides all the pay options. Very easy to set up, rarely if ever any freezing issues, and I love the remote as well as the app that makes your smartphone a remote also. Very well thought out!

Who needs cable!

I bought this about a month ago... LOVE IT!! I have Netflix, Amazon and Hulu on my Roku... and regular antenna TV ... I dont miss cable at all especially the cable bill!!! Cheaper and more to choose from. Highly suggest it if you are tired of paying those outrageous cable bills!!!

Roku 2 Mostly Good

The response time of Roku 2 is good except when you start off. You have to hit the home button several times. Once the light goes on, it makes the connection. From that point on, there no problems. I use it for Netflix. Normally, I am able to pick from thousands of movies and enjoy the
streaming experience. It is advisable to have a decent bandwidth so there are no buffering problems. I have 12 Mbps and this works fine with Roku.

One of my best electronic buys ever! It so good I am installing them on relatives TV. More than paid for itself because the enterainment choices let me reduce my cable bill by $39 dollars a month.
