I purchased the Roku 2 a month ago being fed up with the cost of cable tv. I was a bit skeptical at first but decided to give it a try. My entire family LOVES the amount of programs that are available. With a house full of kids from toddlers to teens...everyone finds what they like. Most channels are free or very low cost. Overall, we are saving over $100 a month. It's simple to set up, easy to use and we haven't had any problems. Even our 3 year old can find her programs! Love it!!!

Used the headphone feature for the first time and was very pleased with the clarity and ease of use. The only issue I have with the physical device is that it seem to run hotter than my previous Roku

Worth every penny

I love our roku. If i could have given it 4.5 stars I would have. Only two problems really. First, occasionally there seems to be some kind of error in the channels and you have to back all the way to the home menu to reset it. Second, some of the channels offer so little content it is a waste to even look through them.
Overall I am very please with our purchase, I like the different content that is available, but 75% of the time it is just a nice Netflix player.

I bought this to supplement my over-the-air channels, after discontinuing my satellite service. Not before trying some Blue-ray players with installed apps. But they didn't even come close to having the number apps available on my Roku. It's also made getting rid of pay TV, painless.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Set-up and Fantastic Features

I bought the Roku because my cheap flat screen tv did not have internet capabilities. It took me less than five minutes to set up and begin watching Netflix movies. It is easier and more dependable than my husband's internet capable tv.
I love the earphone feature which allows me to turn the volume up as much as I like without disturbing the neighbors or others in the house. I also logged into my facebook account and viewed photos of my grand-daughters on the large screen. Good investment.
