It's small

I would say I was happy I did. It 8s slow it lags the picture leaves allot of room for improvement. The upsides is there 8s allot 90 programs to choose from and that keeps cable away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I knew nothing about these but needed one to access a new channel...was a little leary at first...no regrets! Highly recommend this product!

Easy set up

Have my Roku 2 for a couple of weeks. Use it to access JW TV so far and enjoy it.
Set up was quite easy with decent instructions.
I would have liked an optical audio output but that's okay. HDMI TV inputs were already filled so the included RCA type cables were put into use.
I'm happy with the Roku
Still have a question about the possibility of steaming ( I think that's the word) music from my computer to my receiver. I wish I could and replace the Apple TV that leaves something to be desired. If it isn't from Apple you can't use it. Music keeps breaking up and with that Apple TV it's all Apple from iTunes, Apple WIFI, Apple TV, Apple computer. Roku and my PC would delight me.
Oh, options listed about describing my relationship with technology really don't do it.
I'm a tech survivor. I struggle through a general, severe lack of usable documentation. So ignore what I chose, nothing really fits.

Two annoyances...

I love my Roku, it's 90% perfect. There's just 2 major annoyances. My first annoyance is that I could not get the Roku I wanted (Roku3) because it's HDMI only and my TV is composite. I had to settle for the Roku 2. I wish they made a more expensive Roku4 option that had HDMI and composite options like the Roku2 from the previous generation. My second annoyance is the Amazon, Netflix, etc. buttons on the remote. I do not use any of those services, and sometimes I accidentally press them and it takes me out of the app I am using and puts me in something I never want to be in. Roku should add an option to disable these buttons, or better yet, remap them to other apps.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty good.... I enjoy it. Not gona pay the over rated price 4 cable. Alot of different channels to keep u busy.

I don't want to pay for cable roku is great. I stream everything. Netflix Hulu Espn never need cable again.

I purchased the Roko 2 last month for an analog tv my grandkids watch.
This gives them access to my TWC cable channels they can't get otherwise. Plus Netflix and access to my Cloud with addition movies. They love it.
