I really love all the options the Roku 2 gives you. My only disappointment is that it crashes at times in the middle of my show.

We bought our ROKU about 2 months ago and love it!! We no longer have DISH Network and that has been the best decision we have ever made. We no longer have to worry about the TV going out in the rain or storms. We have cut our bill down by $114.00 a month. You would be crazy if you didn't get it!!

Worked great the first 7 months

This review had perfect timing. Worked awesome for 7 months then it stopped working and gets very very hot. This just started last week.If you unplug it for a little while to let it cool down then you might get half a day out of if before it stops working again. Doubt I will buy another one.

Bought this several months ago and had to delay setup due to daughters surgery.Couldn't wait to start using it and love, love it. Lost hours of sleep due to wanting " just one more episode"! Best investment we have made in a long time. Love the convenience it provides.

Good product, expands TV Watching Experience

It is quick and easy to use. Access to internet available networks is practically instant. I particularly like the ear phone attachment and hand volume controls. It let's me watch programs while others are sleeping. The system needs a better way to tune in YouTube, however. It is cumbersome and slow even with pairing my computer to it. You have to keep re-pairing when you end a session. Other than that, I don't see how I got along without it. I use frequently, especially since regular cable has become practically boring with all the idiotic "reality" shows taking over.

Lacking Netflix Profiles

I purchased this roku specifically because my XS did not support Netflix Profiles. Unfortunately, I did not do my research and this one also lacks this feature. Also, one of the shortcut buttons on the remote is Blockbuster. I think this poorly associates the identity of Roku and shows that they could get to know their customers a little better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received my Roku as a gift, and it's truly the gift that keeps on giving. Unobtrusive, it's interface is easy to use and connects directly with major content providers makes finding something to watch a snap!
