Roku 2 is hot!

This is our second Roku 2 with our first being the first generation.
It operates like a champ, just like our old one (which we still use).
BUT it gets hot, much hotter than the first generation Roku 2. In fact it cracked a piece of solid oak furniture we set it on and took off some of the finish.
The book says if it is too hot to touch, return it. Well ours isn't that hot, but the heat is enough to do the above damage. Mark ably more than the first Roku 2. So I set it on a trivet.
We like Roku so much, we have persuaded at least 15 people to try it.

Works great upgraded from Light

I loved my old Roku Lte model which I used for several years, but my new Tablo dvr would not stream to it, so I bought the Roku 2 Which also is great and have now cut the cord completely!!!!

Really Nice To See Movies and Shows

It makes the movies and tv shows and sports come better it surprised me how the picture looked on your player and then i went back to tv and it look not as good thanks for making this player and your company roku i only wish i could have more movie stations that did'nt charge to watch movies

I have an Apple TV, a Google Chromecast, and an older Roku. Also a PS3. My favorite way to stream is on this new Roku2. The interface is super user friendly and the fact that I can listen to the TV with headphones through the remote control has been a marriage saver. Seriously thinking of buying more of these for other TVs and selling other streaming devices.

My friend has several in their home and turned me on with my Roku. I in turn told my sister and she has purchased one to take to TX for their winter vacation. NO commercials I am happy.
