I love the fact that Roku is one payment and you are done. I wish that it had an antennae feature so that we didn't need two separate items around our tv or that it would have access to local stations. I also wish that you had more options of channels that we could choose to pay for, as we are not with any satellite or cable company, thus why we bought the Roku.

Good deal at a good price

I bought the Roku in attempt to replace my TWC but I've ended up keeping both. That's just a personal preference though. I have a Roku 1 and 2. My Roku 2 sometimes gets "stuck" and doesn't work but usually a couple of restarts fixes it. This only happens once in a while though so it doesn't really bother me. Being familiar with networks, I realize that there's times when a restart or restore helps clear out old junk files, etc. All in all it's a great product and I'm sure that the content will get better and better by subscription. It's the way for all tv channels to go! Works better for the consumer as well to be able to pay for what you want without all that you don't want.

difficulty in finding and installing the 1000 channels.---a set of operation instructions would greatly help.

Investment worthy

Bought this for my husband who is confined 24/7. Since he is not computer savy this has been an easy adjustment for him. With all the shows he has watched the machine has paid for itself many times over. Was able to cancel a few channels off cable. Once you figure out how to enable the close caption he can now watch it late at night or early am without disturbing me or the neighbors. Seems to take forever to get the help via "chat line" but once you do they have been good enough to resolve any minor issues.

I originally picked up a ROKU 2 for my folks as an anniversary gift. I was so amazed by this product that I picked myself one up also. I haven't had a single problem with it & couldn't be more pleased. I would note the only issue I had was not with my ROKU 2 but with my ancient wireless router. I realized I had to upgrade my wireless router to handle the amount of data streaming through. I will & already have recommended this product to friends & co-workers.
