Nice device, but needs improvements

This is our first device to access streaming content from the internet on our television. The product does connect to more sources of content than I expected. The interface is a bit clunky. I would love to be able to use a mouse & keyboard for changing settings, activating new content channels & searching for content. The device overheats & it has no mechanism for cooling. We have already sent it back to the manufacturer for overheating once. We have been using the new one for about a week and it looks like that is going to continue to be a problem. The documentation indicates that it uses little power & generates little heat, but the device gets very hot after a few hours of use. It would also be helpful if the content channels linked to your Roku account rather than having to manually link them to the device after every time you reset the device. Because of this, setup after resetting the device or getting a replacement device is a real hassle.

I've had this Roku for several months now and had no idea when I bought it how easy it would be to use. Our other TV has a Blueray player attached to be able to watch Netflix, HGOGo, etc but the Roku is better by far.

It works well for what we want it to do. It's a little hard to set up with the wifi when you have a very secure password since you have a little screen with all the letters and you have to press the arrow keys to get to each one. There isn't much on it that's free, however. Most things you have to pay for.
