Love the Choices

Having Roku gives us a lot more choices on what we can watch. Especially helpful with catching up on shows we have missed.
The only negative side is my remote occasionally stops working. Thankfully when you google the problem, several "fixes" are available and so far they have worked!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inconsistent WIFI connection

I bought the system about 6 months ago within the past 2/3 months the system just will not connect to the WIFI consistently. Some days it work fine, other days it’s not worth the electricity it burns. I guess I should have realized something was odd about an electronic device that only has a 60-90 day warranty

Disappointed

I had a Roku for several years and when it stopped working, I decided to upgrade to a Roku 2. I've been very disappointed with it's performance. It often (more often than seems necessary, anyways) stops in the middle of what I'm watching and reboots. Other times I it stops working properly, or things won't load, and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Sometimes I have to do it multiple times before it will work properly.
I gave it 2 stars because I do love the remote that I can use headphones with. I find that very helpful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked OK at first. But unfortunately, I could change the channels first selected. Then it stopped working.

Several years ago we bought a Roku 1 for my husband's television and he loves it. (It is still working perfectly.) So for Christmas he bought me a Roku 2. I wanted the Roku 2 because of the ability to use headphones with it. I love it. Daily we stream movies from Netflix or videos from Youtube right on our television. Highly recommended this device.

can't tell you how glad we are that we dropped "regular" cable/satellite TV and have entered the world of ROKU. now, we watch WHAT we want, WHEN we want and have minimal commercial interruptions

I received my Roku for this past Christmas, 2013. I am disabled, in bed, due to MS. My Roku has turned out to a great benefit for me. Easy to use. Flexible. THANKS!!!
