so easy to set up and use!

We bought this a month ago and so happy we did. It was inexpensive and very easy to set up. It turned our normal TV into a smart TV. Very easy to use. Love this product!

I Bought this for the RED BOX instant but RED BOX has SHUT DOWN. I hope that Netflix will improve and pick up the more recent movies that was offered on Red box. The ROKU is still worth buying.

I've successfully gotten rid of extreme cable costs. Although one of my units gets very hot and has a glitch after I try reconnecting.

I am glad I bought this b/c I get to watch TV shows and movies that were from years ago. It is pretty easy to use. My complaint is that the remote is so tiny. I lose it quite often and takes me a while to find it.

Fantastic gadget, but...

I love Roku, and was an early adopter, beginning with ownership of one of the very first G1 Roku boxes. I still have that thing on a spare TV in the bedroom (crashes every time I use it) and the Roku 2 is my primary streaming device. I love most things about it, but this one also crashes several times a week. Most of what I watch involves Netflix or Amazon Prime, and every so often (perhaps once every 20 hours of viewing) it will just lock up and eventually reboot. This was the same with my G1 Roku, only that was a daily occurrence. This happens a couple times a week with the G2, maybe twice. Other than that, I love it. I cur the cable in 2009 and never looked back. I will upgrade to a newer Roku one day. Let's hope they havefixed the crash-happiness by then. Oh, and with the addition of the YouTube Channel, I am much happier, btw. :)

I bought the Roku 2 because it was less expensive than the Roku 3. The difference I notice in the two is that 2 seems less responsive to the remote than the 3. Other than that, I recommend Roku. I love it! Watch more Roku than cable.
