with all the streaming devices out on the market, it's nice to see Roku coming out with one of the best. I have a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 and they are more dependable than my Chromecasts.

My first device, a DLINK begun to fail after six months and after a year plus of issues I replaced with the ROKU. Wow what a difference, better menu, more responsive and faster commands. Should have bought this the first time.

I love everything about roku except for one important feature, the remote! For me it is constantly un-syncing and I have done all their suggestions plus people's online suggestions and still no luck. You can download an app remote to your cell, which is what I have to do now.

Love this model

I got this unit primarily because you can use headphones with the remote. I stay up late and watch movies which, with the kind of stuff I watch, war movies etc, the movies loud moments really bothered my wife who goes to bed early. Neither of us could be happier now.

We bought the Roku 2 and 3 to replace our satellite bill. My wife and I like it for movies and watching old shows we grew up on but found that the options for us did not replace normal TV. I'm a motor head and history junkie and she is a reality TV cooking show buff. What is available just wasn't a replacement for what we watch. It is a great addition to the programming we already had.
We were able to remove some of the channels we were receiving from our TV provider and save a little money that way. It will pay for itself in 4 months time.
