Im glad i heard about the roku. Its small n perfect for watching Netflix. Just wish the local channels that are on there would have full episodes instead of clips. Wish the nfl channel played the games. But im still glad i got the roku

Great Alternative to Expensive Cable Packages

I bought a refurbished ROKU and have been using it for about 10 months. I like the idea that I can tailor "pay for" those channels that I really watch.

I Get to Enjoy MY Shows!

Bought this to have capability of streaming Netflix and Amazon in the bedroom. I love the headphone jack in the remote! I get to watch MY shows late at night or early in the morning without bothering my girlfriend and keeping her from falling asleep or waking her up. Bonus, it's compatible with my RF capable Harmony remote, so I'll be buying another for the living room. The streaming quality is great and the load times are quite fast. I love this device.

I LOVE THE ROKU AND ALL I think I would add is local channels.after all they are for free already but in rural areas like mine can't get them without a digital antenna.having them available on Roku would be fantastic

i just got it yesterday and it so easy to hook up with out reading the booklet this is my first one i have ROKU 2 i am enjoy all of my movies and shows i recommend to my family and friends keep up with the great work

Great choice compared to cable

I really like my Roku 2 XD. Not only can I watch Netflix and hulu plus but I can listen to Pandora and even watch movies from free sites that are not found on Netflix or cable. I only wish that there was a way to have separate profiles for netflix on my Roku 2 like on the #3 model.

I would have to give the Roku unit itself 5 gold stars. It was easy to install and it worked great......BUT.....The (so called) free video is pure trash! They interrupt every 5 minutes with at least 3 commercials, the video on some channels can hardly be seen, many voice dub-overs are a joke. I sent the unit back ONLY because of the lousy free video quality. Sorry Roku, cable has nothing to worry about yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
