I live this, especially the headphone option. I can listen my wife can sleep early in the AM. There is more stuff to view than you have hours.

Thought I'd try out the streaming video players, starting with G****e Chr*mecast and working my way up. Got to Roku 2 and stopped. It has everything I need, quick downloads, and priced right.
Now, if only the program providers were as cost effective and consistent!

Many features in a small package

We have had our Roku2 for over three months. It has become our device of choice for watching programming. We are seeing better, faster streaming with fewer buffering an loading interrupts; more viewing and listening choices and an over all more satisfying entertainment experience. The only downside we see is the unit gets hot. (It is on 12-15 hours per day.) I sat the unit on a metal heat sink to dissipate the heat and now it runs much cooler. Keeping it cool will lengthen the life of the player. Other than that, great player, great viewing choices and will probably purchase another. Perhaps the HDMI stick player for travel. Who knows?

Very convenient! But Roku 2 is buggy. Hangs a lot

I have been using Roku for 5 months now. It has great performance. but Roku 2 is very buggy as it drops signals midway and reboots itself. Its a big pain to get back to the point where one left.

I bought this around 12/2013 and am having a great time with it. I can stream on my TV which has a bigger screen than my laptop screen. I don't have to download a certain program to stream either like I do with Netflix and HBO, etc.
