So convenient and reliable

I love my Roku 2. My internet connection is not the fastest, and still the Roku works flawlessly. I love the audio jack on the remote. I know the Roku 3 has a faster processor, which I was a bit concerned about at first, but have no regrets purchasing the 2.

crashes too often!

We bought our Roku about a year ago, and within the past 6 months it has started to crash often. We rarely get through a program without a crash in which the Roku resets itself entirely and can take a while to get rebooted. Otherwise, it's a decent streamer, i suppose.

This is my second Roku. Shortly I will cut the Cable and rely on my Roku for entertainment.

I like the product other than the remote loses connect all the time.It becomes annoying when I have to reset the unit or the remote.and sometimes that doesn't even work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome device, needs improvement

I've had my Rocku player for a while now and I've enjoyed it because I have Netflix. So I get to watch pretty much anything that's on Netflix. However the 1000 other channels consist of mainly old timer shows and movies. Viewings from the 1920s and beyond. I understand these shows reach and entertain a certain audience but as for me and my generation, the primary users of the Roku I'm sure, I think it would be nice to have a more recent catalog without having to pay for it of course. Out of the thousands of channels I've stuck to only three or four. Which have kept me well entertained and busy I must say for the most part at least. Keep updating Roku!

I bought my Roku about 2 months ago. I always wanted one when I hear friends and family members always talk about it. So I bought the Roku 2. I like the feature of the headphone jack in the remote. However the only thing I dont like is that batteries tend to die quite rapidly when I have the headphones plugged into the remote. Other than that I am in love with my Roku player.

I'm still learning how to use the Roku. The movies on Lifetime are good. I am disappointed that I have to subscribe to cable to get most of the features available. I tried Redbox for the "free" 30 days and on day 30 they charged me more than the recorded price and refused to respond to my request for refund.
I would recommend this to a friend!
