Glad I bought it

I bought this because I cancelled my cable to save money and I knew that I could play Hulu and Netflix on my TV through my Wii. However, this feature just didn't work that well and I knew there had to be an easier way. The Roku has really made living without cable easier (I know, champagne problem). The reasons I did not give it 5 stars are because 1. the Sleep Diet channel plays commercials. What's the point of lulling me into a deep, restful sleep, only to blast me awake with high energy commercials? 2. The remote is totally round on the bottom. This design flaw was made with the best intentions- to fit snugly in the hand, but it rocks incessantly when you put it on any flat surface, like, say, a coffee table; and I don't like putting it button-side-down, for some OCD reason. So, I stuck two googly eyes on it and now it's stable. Overall, though, great product.

We bought our first Roku after Christmas. Shortly after, because we were so pleased that we bought a second Roku. We thoroughly enjoy our Roku. Ad free is awesome

Didn't work on our 7 year old HD 46" Sony TV.

We bought this about 6 weeks ago and it does't work on our main 7 year old HD 46" Sony TV. It is not a "smart" TV, but I thought it would still work. It does, however, work on a smaller TV, but that is one we never watch.

I bought my Roku.com 2 about 2 mo the ago and I LOVE IT!! I don't have cable - on purpose- with Roku.com I don't need it!! Love love love it!!
