Great Features

What a great way to stream movies and tv shows by using the Roku. So many "channels" are available, some free and some by subscription. The Roku takes up little space but gives us a whole lot of entertainment!

my son bought this for about 1 year ago. after a few months of using my roku 2
I cancelled my cable tv service. I moved from ct to mt hooked up my roku in minutes. great product.

I love it. The load time for radio is sometimes quite lengthy. Picking what I want to watch instead of waiting for it to come on. Outstanding!

I had heard about Roku for a year before I purchased my own, I found it to be more than I expected. I previously owned an Android based unit, and there is no comparison. the Roku is truly the best.

I bought my Roku about 3 months ago and it wasn't long before I started thinking, "where has this been all my life?" I am one of the few that still are in possession of a "tube" tv. While deliberating on whether to cut the "cable cord", my lingering issue was what to do with my perfectly functioning "tube" tv (since I couldn't see how to make use Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc on it) I'm not one to toss working/functioning items into the landfill so when I found out about the Roku (2), it seemed the answer to my dilemma. Skeptical that it seemed too good to be true, I put it to the test for months and have found no issues whatsoever. It has essentially turned my old tv into a smart tv. I've been touting its wonders to anyone who will listen! :-)

We bought the Roku 2 a few months ago for streaming Netflix and it works perfectly. We originally tried the Roku streaming stick and that was terrible, it would cut out the performers list at the end of a movie and also go straight into the next movie in the series. We couldn't do anything to control the device. We really like the Roku 2 and would highly recommend it.

Love it, but have sound issues

Love having access to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon on my TV. Only major problem: About every 4-5 days, my Roku will suddenly lose sound. I have to unplug it (HDMI and power cable) and then plug it back in, sometimes several times, in order to get the sound to work again. Weird.
