I finally bought a Roku after hear about it from Don Tony of the Don Tony and Kevin Castle Show. Roku will be the future of television as more people break free from over price cable.

My family doesn't watch cable but we love Netflix. This is perfect! Works great and we can use other apps like Pandora on our TV, so easy to use!

Mostly Satisified

I have had this for 5 months! I am mostly satisfied except occasionally the picture, sound goes black for a second or two! Nothing is wrong with my Fios wifi!

Love the Roku

I don't normally watch TV, I'm more of a netflix / youtube person, so my mom told me to get the "thing that plugs into the TV so I can watch my videos on the TV" and not just have a TV in my room collecting dust. The Roku is perfect for what I need it for. All of my computers hook up to it the moment its on so streaming youtube videos are a breeze. Some people might tell you to get the Roku 3 because it runs faster but I yet to have a problem with the speed of the Roku 2. The videos i've watched (on both netflix and youtube) have never needed to pause to buffer.

A friend bought this for me as a present and I love it. The picture comes in clear and the streaming is excellent. It also has the content available that I'm interested in.

Excelent alternative to cable, best platform for Netflix, Hulu, and the free ones like Crackle and Viewster. I wish I had had it long ago!!

Great Streaming, still needs some features

I have a Roku HD and decided to buy a Roku 2 for my daughter's room. I love the option to plug headphone into the remote so the tv doesn't disturb other people. I haven't had any issue with streaming and the menus are easy to navigate, but there are still a few features missing. 1. I don't like that Netflix is still the old platform as opposed to the new version where each person has their own profile on netflix. Roku automatically signs into the main profile, and this is annoying when you have to figure out where you are in a series because you've been watching it under a different profile. 2. There should be an option to hide channels or to create different profiles on Roku. There are channels that are fine for my 10 year old, but not appropriate for my 6 year old. They should only be able to have access to channel I approve for them. 3. Approvals/Logins should be applied to all Roku devices registered under the same account. When I add a new channel and link it to a provider or login, I don't want to have to go through the process for all other roku devices individually.
