Great reception/picture and variety of stations

This is my 3rd ROKU - it is easy to set up and use, and the picture on the screen is just as good as watching it on cable. The only con is - all of the information (passwords for those channels requiring them) - has to be entered via the controller, moving from letter to letter/number, a step at a time - takes forever, and if something got entered incorrectly, you start over again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The worst!

I bought this over a year ago and it has not brought any enjoyment to our home. It works on rare occasions after unplugging and reloading several times. The picture is poor. When we have had family or friends to visit we have tried to watch movies and never can. It is the worst purchase I've made. I should have returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have the Roku 1 and got a Roku 2 for a bedroom and for travel. We love the Roku 2. Faster, more responsive, love the frame by frame fast forward / reverse feature and it resets itself quickly when unplugged or added to a new TV. We use mostly for Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS and Disney and catching the news highlights. Plenty of content.

Not sure how I feel about Roku 2

When I am watching a program from the Roku 1, when you pressed the forward button, it brought you back to where you left off. The Roku 2 brings you back to the beginning of the episode instead of where you left off. Perhaps I am missing how to work the 2 but I am not a fan of this disabled feature.
