No Power On/Off Button.

I have had the ROKU 2 for several months now. It's only draw back is that there is not a power on/off button. The unit gets quite hot and has to be unplugged to shut it off. Other then that , I love it. Much better than cable and satellite.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought Roku 2 before 2 months. I love it. I do not need cable any more. Saving atleast $ 50 /month.

Love it, if only....

Just love my Roku 2! There is always something to watch free or easilyy paid for! My one and only complaint with it is, there are so many channels to choose from and no way to search any of them for what is available. You have to go through each and every channel and each and every program to see what is playing. There needs to be some kind of guide and search abilities. With that available I would rate it a 5 star!!!

I bought this in November of last year.
I Enjoy using each day.
Channels to choose from are many Some have the ability to get photo and video off you Home computer to view for parties.

My husband and I received this from my daughter and son in law as a gift and we love it.There isn't a day that goes by that one of us isn't using it! We tell all our friends about the Roku 2! Of all the gifts we received, it has been our favorite!

Great for my Home Video server

I bought the Roku to use with an older TV that does not have any streaming capability. That TV has Component video - but no HDMI. Unfortunately the Roku 2 only has composite video and HDMI output and its composite output lacked HD quality. So I had to purchase an HDMI to Component converter -- And glad I did. this little box is amazing.
Easy to set-up with my wireless network. Not only can I stream Netflix and Amazon Prime, but it also has the PLEX app that works with my home video server (I have over 1000 DVDs that I uploaded to my HVS). I just purchased a Roku 3 from my other TV -- We were using a WII box to stream Netflix, but the Roku is much better quality and allows me to select & stream my own DVD Movies. I had originall bought a new Samsung BD/DVD with streaming capability - but it had insufficient buffering, the Roku is so much better-- and I never see a stalled video stream and much better quality.
I love the fact that remote is RF instead of IR - so there is no line of sight problem and thus I can place the Roku anywhere. And the remote has an headphone jack for private listening, I haven't used that feature yet, but I am guessing it will come in handy.
