Great features gives ease of use

I was skeptical when I first purchased this item but since using it now for some time it has proven to be everything advertised. I use it with an older TV that we have had for some time and it works perfectly with it. Since the TV is not high definition it does have a reduced screen but that is to be expected. We access several free channels plus two paid(Netflix and Amazon Prime) but there are scores of others available for selection. The audio and video quality is great. The remote works well, it also has headphones for private viewing if desired.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Movies straight through

I have to admit my daughter connected it for me (but I could have done it). I'm happy to be able to watch shows straight through. I timed a network program one evening--thirty minutes show, thirty minutes commercials! I enjoy watching the detective shows (Maigret, for example) without all the blood and guts the channel shows depict these days. I wish I'd bought this device years ago!

Love my Roku 2

My husband surprised me with the roku 2. We started researching on the Roku 2 last year. We get very few channels on our tv service worth looking at. How many sports, news, and info cannels you need. I am so happy my husband got the roku 2 for me. We are going to invest in another roku but have not decided when.
