My 2nd roku

was a little skeptical about buying this 2nd roku for my small man cave my 42 " plasma has only 2 hdmi ports and uverse and blu ray in them and i had read a lot of people had trouble with roku and hdmi switch but i bought it and it works great !! , and the headphone jack in the remote is a great thing , works with my headphones and it sounds great , im enjoying my roku 2 a lot , this review written by a real happy customer !!!

So Easy to Install an Old Granny Can Do It!!!

When I got the box home, I was uncertain as to whether I could install it myself, or if I needed to call my adult son to my house to install it. I read the instructions which were very easy to follow and I had the job completed in no time. Then I dusted off my hands as if I had really done some work, and settled down in my easy chair to enjoy.
I love the programming that I control myself. I enjoy PBS, but since I travel a good deal, I sometimes miss my favorite programming. With Roku, I can watch it anytime. "Fred and Ginger" I can get on Netflix at 5:00 in the morning, if I want. I watch TED, (Ideas Worth Watching), Smithsonian, WeatherNation. The viewing possibilities are endless, and I have the power to pick and choose.
I am only sorry that I took so long to get Roku 2.

Not missing cable at all!

This was our second Roku purchase, as I initially purchased one model "up" for my son for Christmas for his television and he repaid the kindness with getting me one of my own. It was easy to set up, easy to navigate and I have not even begun to explore the many, many options for channels to check out. I love the Roku and I have referred many friends to this awesome product.

I already had purchased a Roku many moons ago and finally decided to go for another. I wanted the Roku3 but it wasn't in my price range at the time, so I just went with the Roku2. And it works just fine for me!!!

We are happier with Roku's channels, especially since YouTube has been added. Cable and satellite carry too much reality-type programming and sports. Roku offers a wider variety of entertainment and it's ON DEMAND!

works great for Netflex with our old tube tv using RCA jacks. Haven't been able to have more than one viewing list with Netflex account. I Pad app works good for typing in titles, etc.
