Limitless variety!

We've had our Roku for a couple of months now and think it's a great alternative to cable. There's always something to watch. I have found several television series' and mini-series' that I had enjoyed in the past, but was unable to watch every episode. Not the case with Roku! I can watch every episode from start to finish; at my leisure!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cable Frustration Solution!

We love this thing. We don't it down and settle for what's on anymore. We find more interesting and valuable material than we can watch. With Netflix and all of the free stuff, plus the on demand availability, there's never a shortage of great content. As a bonus, I removed about six miles of cables and miscellaneous junk from under, behind, and around my TV. We even freed up a couple of electrical outlets. Setup couldn't be easier. Best of all, NO CABLE BILL!

I have had the Roku for some time now and it certainly elevates viewing to a more substantial level from the "dummy down" reality television shows.

I have had this for about 6 months. It runs great except for one small issue. When you first turn it on and select netflix and navigate to your show the roku player will reload. This causes about a 10 second waste of time each time you begin to use it after inactivity. Not a big deal but it is a minor annoyance. Also it would be nice to have a power off button. It's great to be always on, but it seems like a waste of energy and a reduction of the products life.

I love this thing! I cut out cable because we can only get Cox and they are insanely expensive. This does the trick! The only downside is you cannot choose which Netflix profile you watch from and my roommate and I share a Netflix account with different profiles.

Good device for streaming. When using it compared to a Roku 3 you don't notice a lack of speed or power from the lower grade hardware. The difference comes when you use the third party software. For example, Netflix does not allow multiple users on the 2 as it does on the 3. Every time my wife and I want to watch a show Netlfix suggests all kid's shows since our kids tent to watch more than we do. Also, Youtube was slower to arrive on the 2 as well.

Very easy setup. Works perfectly. I have a Roku 2Xs and a Roku Streaming Stick also - they all work fine.!
