One of the best gifts I have ever received!

I was given Roku for my birthday and it's great. Easy to install and the content selection is very good. My only concern was that the unit runs hot (not warm) but was assured by customer service that this is normal. I have recommended it to my friends.

Volumn Control

The unit I had experienced a volumn control problem. Not at first, but a few months after the purchase. I got onto a 'chat line' with a Roku associate, and after a lengthy 'try this and try that', convinced the associate that the volumn control did not work. A replacement unit was mailed to me.

Great addition to my OTA viewing, gave up the high price of cable/dish, bought an over the air antenna and added Roku. Very pleased..

Having Roku saves me money monthly....I cancelled my satellite service as I get everything I need thru my Roku. Add it up.....it paid for itself in one month!

Cotection problem with router

The Roku 2 worked well for a few days then I experienced connection problems with the Infinity router. All my other WI FI devices; I-Pad computer & lap top computer worked fine. I suspect a loose wire are connection inside the Roku 2 because I can get a usable signal if I stand the unit up inste3ad of laying it flat as designed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
