I bought this about 3 months ago and have enjoyed FLAWLESS entertainment. No hard reboots, no connectivity issues, it simply works. Love the Plex option as I stream many local videos on my hard drive. Netflex, Vudu work great. It is fun to explore other channels offered. Great value, Great buy!

Aaaaah! How I love my Roku!

I stumbled upon my first Roku several years ago to stream Netflix (there weren't many other channels at that time). I was so pleased with its easy set up and its reliability.
Now, I own about five Rokus. I take one traveling wherever I go (hotels will make accommodations for your Roku). The technology keeps getting better and better.
I tend to promote Roku because I believe in the product: great technology, dependability, easy to setup and easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good gadget

I bought my Roku because I leave overseas and wanted to get American Channels, and found my self frustrated theat there is not a single channel that would give the "cable" kind of service. All the other services are not bad. Love the headset feature is a very good addition.

Smooth Install, easy to use. More APPS PLEASE?

I would like more Add-On Access points available for this item. With so many apps out there, it would be a major PLUS for your product were there a clear and simple way to add them. I have seen no information as to how this can be done or even IF it can be done! Having cut the 'CABLE CORD' I get all my entertainment via the web. I would hate to have to replace my 3 Roku units with Samsung blu-ray players capable of providing a huge selection of free apps in an easy to locate / add format!

Love my Roku

I bought this last year as a treat to myself. I am enjoying it. I wish though that there was more to choose from as far as movie, tv show options for 80's and 90's. It seems like there is a big gap. You have a lot of offerings for 40s-70s and earlier.

Great streaming product

Loving my Roku 2 box. It's allowed me to stream Netflix, etc., and easy to use. Just plug it in and it's good to go. If you're using a Sound Bar like me, plug it directly into the bar instead of the TV which will transmit sound and picture.

I don't have cable and I was trying to find an alternate tv solution. I haven't explored all the different channels yet. But I did find some of what I was looking for and in those it was good. If you are looking for movies - the free ones are either really old and it takes a long time to search stuff out to watch. But for what I need it for it is very good and it is better to watch the tv than the computer. I did find a couple of streaming channels which I was pleasantly surprised. As far as a product - it does what it says it will do. It was very easy to setup and very easy to use.
