Good device for tech challenged

Been using for 7 months and find it simple to use. I wish I could purchase NCAA BASKETBALL GAMES that are not on local broadcast networks that I access via antenna. But even with that downside it sure beats paying for cable, satellite, or U- verse.

We just purchased the unit two weeks ago and have been using it every day since. It's great to see such a variety of programming, catch up on the old TV shows of our youth, and watch such a variety of programming.

I bought three roku 2s in March and bought one in July. We are definitely a roku 2 house. I don't watch that much tv, but when I do it is almost always on the roku 2, not on the cable. Can't get rid of cable yet, since my husband still watches things on that. This roku 2 unit is so easy to use. And it sets up so quickly when you first get it. I am extremely pleased with the roku 2 and have recommended to all my friends. One of them has bought one and loves it also.

I bought this in hopes that it would work better at night than my Apple TV since my Apple TV would not do anything ever at night. It has been good in that aspect, but the other day when I was watching a movie on it, it restarted twice.
I also do not like that it always stays on, I have heard from other people that this is a huge disadvantage as it can ruin HDMI cables, I have also noticed that the batteries I have in the remote for this device die very quickly as a result of this.
On the upside, it was a good price and I wanted it in addition to my Apple TV because it offers the Amazon Player App.
I would recommend this to a friend!
