Works on my older tv

Easy to set up and use. It works on my older tv. Headphone jack on the remote is convenient. I didn't know streamers like this existed for use on older tvs, I am very glad I stumbled across it. Have recommended it to several friends.

Everything you would expect!

I have four Roku XD 2 units in the house and bought the newer Roku 2 for the basement. Everything is great plus some better features such as a faster processor. The ONLY thing I can say I don't like is that on the remote they moved the "Enter" or "OK" button below the arrow keys instead of in the middle. I don't quite understand this since almost all remotes have the enter button in the middle (including the older Roku units). This can get frustrating at times. Otherwise buy one. You won't be disappointed

We have been using the Roku 3 for a number of months, and love it. I will be buying another one for our cottage, where we have no satellite tv, cable, or local stations. We DO have an internet connection, and that is all that is needed.
We have occasionally experienced the Roku "freezing." The fix is simple. Simply turn it off got 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. Problem solved.
We stream Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Youtube, Pandora, and a bunch of other free channels. This product is a winner.

I bought my Roku with the intention of cancelling my cable and just keeping internet. Although there are MANY free movies and shows, there is a lot that can only be viewed if purchased. My husband and I only follow a few series and two of the three are free (not bad). If only The Strain were free our cable would be gone by now!

Easy install, great product to make any TV "Smart"

I bought this 2 months ago as I downgraded my cable, was getting too expensive. I am not tech savvy so did not even know what Rodu was. My old upstairs TV died so I bought a nice Smart TV that I love. Then I told the sales guy my downstairs TV is not that old, I wish I had waited....well that is when he explained Roku, now my other TV is just as "smart." I was afraid about the install, it was very easy and the prompts / instructions easy to follow, I had no problem at all. I love it and enjoy surfing my favorites like YouTube, Facebook, Netflix via this technology. It is inexpensive and easy...go for it you'll be glad you did.

Exactly what I needed

A friend recommended ROKU and it has turned out to be one of my best purchases. No longer held captive by cable companies, can watch what i want when I want..
only negative is scrolling the remote to setup all the accounts..took longer than it should IMHO

I love my Roku 2, and now wish I'd bought the Roku 3 so I would have the gaming remote. I mostly stream Netflix. and haven't had time to go through all of the channels and features available.

Must have little black box!!

I am so happy that I cancelled cable and purchased this little black box. Roku is easy to install and use. I currently have Netflix and Hulu and my family couldn't be happier.
