Great and efficient product!

This product surpassed my expectations. I was ready to buy a personal computer to access Netflix and other services. An associate mentioned his satisfaction with Roku so I took the chance. My wife and I need the closed captions and all the so called Apps on other products do not support closed captions. It has never lost a signal from my wifi and for that I am glad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I own 5 Roku players and they add a great deal of variety to our TV watching . There's always something on one of the hundreds of channels .

Easy to install and use

We have been using the Roku 2 for two months and are very please with the ease of use and convenience for accessing Acorn TV and NetFlix.

Everything is great except Netflix navigation

This is a great streaming device for everything except Netflix. The organization of TV shows in the Netflix module is organized in a linear fashion instead of a branching/tree organization structure. This does not allow quick navigation through seasons of a show to get to the desired episode.

Love My ROKU PLayer

I am so glad I bought this player. There are many channels I can now watch on the TV instead of the small computer window. My favorites are Acorn and YouTube. Acorn has movies and series from Britain and YouTube has instructional videos for painting and knitting that I need. My only problem was when I lost my remote and had to purchase a replacement. The replacement does not work nearly as well as the original. I end up having to repeatedly click the OK button to get a response. Take care of your original remote because you will not be happy with the replacement one.

Great option for streaming music

I already have 2 Roku 3 boxes which are great. Decided to dump my old SiriusXM receiver and just get all my music over the Internet using Roku and apps (Sirius,Pandora,etc.) but still needed to connect sound and video to my receiver/amp. The Roku 2 has both the A/V connects and HDMI. It does a good job for what I use it for - and it's was inexpensive since it's previous generation :-)
