I bought my Roku 2 about a month ago. It was easy to set up and easy to use--and I love that it doesn't take up any room!

Unit is very easy to use and set up and works well when signal is good. However, when we use it at out RV site, where the signal strength varies with usage, it will drop us and cause us to re-establish the connection and then go back to where we were streaming, which is time consuming to say the least. Our laptop will stay connected, so I'm pretty sure it is th Roku which causes the drop. Otherwise it is a great unit t use when the siganl is good.

Does what it says it will do--kind of

Has worked without interruption since purchase in March. But we paid extra for the Roku2, which has headphones built into the remote. Headphones worked for maybe a month, then jammed the signal to the TV when used. Probably under some kind of warranty, but my wife gets by without the 'phones, and I stopped watching scripted television about 45 years ago, and all television about 8 years ago, so I really don't care.
I would recommend this to a friend!

excellant reception on both roku players

I purchased a new Samsung smart TV and was very unhappy with the reception because the apps were very dark and unreadable, so I purchased a second Roku player which solved the problem. I have only call Roku one time and they solved the problem within three to four minutes. And the person was very very nice.

We bought the ROKU so we could get the Acorn channel. Not sure why, but we have had to reset the ROKU multiple times . We called the channel several times with problems and they suggested that we reset the ROKU. It worked each time so we are not sure where the issue originated.

Awesome Little Device

Love this thing! All I can really say is, get it! The headphone jack on the remote is so awesome and a great addition. I got one of these for myself and one for my bro, and my brother loves just as much as me. Great little device.
