This is my second Roku so I was familiar with the product and looking forward to the upgrades with the new series. Frankly my only negative is that the headphones when plugged in, seem to cause a slight disruption in the remote's performance.Also. the headphones appear to cause the batteries to drain very quickly.

I bought the Roku2 a couple of months ago to replace an older model that did not get some of the newer channels. It was very easy to install and set up, and the remote has more features and is easier to use than the older model. Great upgrades!

I received this as a gift. I am still not able to access Netflix. I have tried all of the suggestions from Roku but it will not accept my email address or my password!

Great capabilities and features for those of us who only have internet in our homes. A great addition to any home.
Key feature for myself in purchasing, long story short - lightning blew the HDMI ports out of my tv. Was difficult to hook anything but a dvd player to it, the Roku 2 having the analog connection option made it ideal.

I bought this product approximately 2 or 3 months ago, and I really wish I had not waited so long before making this purchase! It was simple to hook up to my older large-screen HD and even easier to connect to my home's wireless network!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this mainly to stream Netflix. It's small, but delivers exactly what I bought it for. Setup was easy. My kids also enjoy using the Pandora and You Tube access.

Great Addition to Basic Satellite

I purchased the Roku 2, reduced my satellite package to the bare minimum, and purchased a 1 year subscription to Amazon Prime, and have been very pleased with Amazon's offerings. I have watched a lot of movies, and tv shows that are included with the subscription. They offer both an array of changing content for "prime eligible", and very reasonable prices for renting new releases. There are apps for Disney, and PBS kids on demand programming for kids along with many other apps, some free, and some with paid subscriptions. You will probably still want to keep basic cable for local channels, and popular basic cable channels, but overall, purchasing the Roku 2 seems to eliminate the need for expensive cable channels such as HBO, Showtime, and the like. Having an array of changing Amazon Prime eligible movies, and also being able to purchase new releases of my choosing, seems like a better bargain than expensive cable channel subscriptions with which I probably would not find more than 1 movie per month that I actually deem worth watching.
