Fantastic idea, Another increase on the cable bill got me checking out Roku.
When we had time to relax to watch TV nothing was on.

I've owned my first Roku for two years and love it. I bought a second one for another room, love the features but it keeps dropping the signal. Its just a little disappointing...Set up is EASY!!!!!

I am very satisfied with this Player.... it's exactly what you need for most viewing. I realize the more expensive model gives more options.... but I love this one. It's easy, and leaves no worries.

This is my 4th roku. I love them. One annoyance is I have to sign up for all the channels like Netflix and epix for each Roku. It would be nice to have them linked to my Roku account.

A very good alternative to satellite

We searched for sometime for some means of getting rid of the satellite and finally ran across the Roku. Debated for a while whether it would be a worthy replacement. This decision was made for us when at the first of the year they raised the bill yet again and that was that. There are so many channels on here its hard to review them all to see if they have something you want on them. Always something to watch. Very interesting content too, not all that reality tv from the satellite channels. I no longer have to help the big corporation guys pay for their overpriced ball teams and race cars or pay for the dumbing down of the species with all the reality tv. Thanks Roku!!

Headphone jack on controller

The roku is good but the controller headphone keeps running the batteries down to nothing. I was disappointed to say the least.

Easy, free entertainment

I received my Roku 2 player for Christmas and have recommended the product to several others who have also made purchases. No need to pay a hefty monthly subscription for great TV. When combined with my Netfilx and Amazon prime memberships, the Roku offers more entertainment options that anyone could ever watch. I have almost 400 channels added to my player and I can easily find content related to my favorite interests.
