Xmas gift from the wife. We have an older rear projection TV that is pre-HDMI, so having the composite output was a must. We watch Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, and M-Go. Occasionally like to watch after my wife turns in, headphone jack on remote is brilliant. Ability to search across all services for content is very handy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped working after a few months

We bought our Roku a few months ago, and it no longer works. It also was likely the cause of damage to some audio equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The wife bought the Roku 2 from walmart and it has been great for all of us. Me and my family watch this thing day and night. It has plenty of movies and shows we all like and even plenty of cartoons for my son to watch. Have not had an issue with video freezing, lagging, or slow connectivity. Thinking about buying an extra for the the bedroom because of everybody fighting over the remote.

I found it easy to use and the set up was also easy. I liked it so much that I purchased more as gifts. I am also able to watch TV in NJ using my Slingbox via Roku, which is saving my mom a lot of money in cable bills. If I had any problems, I usually would reset it by unplugging it and replugging it and that usually fixed any issues otherwise I would go onto Roku's website to look for an answer.

I bought this about a year ago and I just don't use it very much and when I do it is complicated and the controls are a pain to toggle between items. I am sorry I purchased it and would love to get my money back
