The Roku 2 is easy to use and has good screen icons, but at times it locks up and freezes and refuses to respond to the hand remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought in February since I already had purchased a Roku 1and wanted to upgrade. Have been satisfied with both products since it is very easy to install.

I purchased the Roku for streaming stations . It works very well , The only set back is that I don't get true HD veiwing. Make sure that you cables are tight , if not the color will be faded.

I have owned my Roku for almost nine months and it freed me having to deal with those awful cable companies. The device was easy to setup and I was able to transition several of my apps from my ipad to my widescreen. Great Device!

I love my Roku. I even bought one for my parents for Christmas last year. There are so many channels and Apps. I rarely watch TV now. I am always using my roku for Hulu and Netflix. Great!

Returned 1st One, Overheated, Died, 2nd One Is ?

1st one kept getting hot, after 3 weeks, while on open shelf, had to keep re-booting. Physically over heated. Took back to BestBuy as defective. Now #2 is cutting in and out on programs. Reloads in the middle of the show. If this continues we will go to another brand. Great wireless signal in home, no interference, no reason except poor product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
